Delete your Dinouna account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Dinouna app (“Dinouna: Islamic Family Games” on Google Play), and what is erased.

Dinouna is published by INSTITUT OUMAYNA LLC on Google Play, and by Alexandre Bert on the App Store.

You may not have an account. The account is optional. If you have never tapped “Continue with Apple” or “Continue with Google” in the app, our server has nothing about you: there is nothing to delete.

From the app: the quickest way

Open Dinouna.
On the home screen, tap the round My account button, at the top left.
Answer the question for adults.
Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Delete.
If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to sign in one last time. This also removes the link between your Apple ID and Dinouna.

The app shows “Your account has been deleted.” Everything is erased straight away, and you can keep playing without an account.

You no longer have the app

Reinstall Dinouna from the App Store or Google Play. It is free.
In My account, sign in with the same Apple or Google account as last time. This brings back your Dinouna account.
Follow the steps above to delete it. You can then delete the app.

By email

If you cannot or do not want to reinstall the app, write to us: À COMPLÉTER PAR LE SPONSOR : adresse e-mail du support, with the subject “Delete my account”.

Tell us:

which device you played on: iPhone, iPad or Android;
how you signed in: with Apple or with Google;
whether you had a Dinouna Complete subscription.

We keep neither your name nor your email address: so we cannot find your account from your email address. We will reply to work out with you how to find it, then we will erase it. We reply within one month at most.

What is erased

Everything our server keeps on your account, straight away (copies in the server’s backups disappear after 30 days):

your account number and its creation date;
the link with Apple or Google: the number that service gives your account;
the subscription recorded on your account: the store, the plan, its status, its end date and its number at the store.

When you delete, from the app, an account opened with Apple, our server also asks Apple to remove the link between your Apple ID and Dinouna.

What is not erased

Your subscription does not stop on its own. Cancel it in your Apple or Google Play account: see Cancelling the subscription. While it is running, the app keeps finding it through your store, even without an account.
The data on the phone (players’ first names, scores, settings) has never left the phone. To erase it, delete the app.
Your purchase history with Apple or Google stays with them, under their own rules.
The numbers of the store messages, which say nothing about you, are erased after 60 days.
The server’s technical logs are erased after 30 days.

You can create a new account later: it will be a brand-new account, with no link to the old one.
