Common questions
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play without an account. The account is only used to find your subscription on another phone, even from an iPhone to an Android.
What is free?
Every day: the Daily Challenge, and one round of each game. A round counts as soon as it starts, and “Play again” starts a new one.
With Dinouna Complete, you play as much as you like, every game. A monthly or yearly subscription. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you pay.
How do I subscribe?
On the home screen, tap the round My account button, at the top left, then Discover Dinouna Complete. On the second round of the day of the same game, the app also shows “See you tomorrow!”, with an I’m a parent button that leads to the offer.
A question for adults comes first: it is a parent who subscribes. The subscription rules are in the terms of use.
What is the question for adults?
It is the parental check. A multiplication written in words, different every time, for example “What is seven times eight?”. You answer with the number keypad.
It comes before the subscription offer, the “My account” screen and any link that leaves the app.
I have changed phone. How do I get my subscription back?
- Same store (from an iPhone to an iPhone, or from an Android to an Android): open My account, then tap Restore purchases.
- From an iPhone to an Android, or the other way round: you need a Dinouna account. In My account, sign in with the same account on both phones.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your Apple or Google Play account. The steps are in Cancelling the subscription. You keep Dinouna Complete until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Deleting the app or your Dinouna account does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Payment goes through Apple or Google: they handle refunds. See Refunds.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: My account, then Delete my account. Everything is explained on the Delete my account page, even if you no longer have the app.
Do I need the internet to play?
No. The questions and the words are inside the app. The internet is only needed to subscribe, sign in and check the subscription.
How many players?
- The Quiz: alone, or up to 8 players.
- Odd One Out: 3 to 12 players.
- Guess the Word: 2 to 12 players.
You play together, on a single phone.
How do I turn the sounds off?
On the home screen, tap the sound button, at the top right. Dinouna has no music and no voices: just small sound effects.
Are there ads?
No. No ads, no trackers, no audience measurement tools. See the privacy policy.
